Oh, the joys

Well, I guess it has been a nice Christmas for me. I ended up getting a new laptop and PDA, which has been nice. I purchased a new Dell Inspiron 9200 at the beginning of November. After about pulling my hair out for a month in anticipation, impatience, nervous gitters, and the like, I finally received it the second week of December. I LOVE IT. I suped it up a bit so it runs pretty smooth. For a laptop it's great. It's got a gig of RAM, a Pentium M 2.0 ghz chip, and a 128 video card . . . not too bad. I can finally run Windows FX. Woo hoo! I was telling someone about how long it would take me to switch over everything from my old computer to my new one. It's not necessarily the info that took so long as much as it took a long while to re-DL all the skins and such from this website. OH, well. I'm done now.
I also lucked out with a new PDA. My old PDA screen crashed. The guys at HP and Bestbuy (where I purchased it . . . along with the replacement plan) were clueless as to how it happened. I do take VERY GOOD care of my toys and there was not one mark or scratch on it. Best buy gladly replaced the unit with a new, upgraded one. So now I have the rx3715 iPAQ. It's quite neat. My favorite function of the iPAQ is the Nevo controls on it. I use it to control my TV, my DVD player, my Audio Receiver, my Cable box, and my DVR. It's quite cool to not have to have 5 remotes lying around. All I need is my iPAQ.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a great Christmas and holiday season. All the best!
